Pride matters. And not just for a month of the year. We're sourcing the best rainbow watches for you to accessorise to your heart's content all year round. We're proud to support our valued customers, suppliers, and employees in showing their Pride or allyship every day and in making the world a better place. Every representation matters, and we're grateful for anyone that gives a voice to the LGBTQIA+ community.
The 2020 Fossil Pride watch collection celebrates Pride Month and beyond. Brands like Fossil give a voice to the community. Supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, the Fossil Pride watches feature a rainbow bezel around the dial, honouring love in all its forms. The two watches in the collection come in two different sizes, with the same eye-catching watch face and a silver stainless steel strap.
The colourful luminous rainbow hour markers glow softly in the dark and sparkle beautifully under light. The 12 hours indices share the 6 colours of the classic LGBTQIA+ flag. Each watch comes packaged in a beautiful collector's edition tin.
Pride month usually takes place in June, to commemorate the Stonewall Riots that started on the 28th of June 1969. It's a way to come together and show acceptance, love, and friendship. It's also a way to fight for equality for the LGBTQIA+ community, especially for those living in less accepting areas, so that they can one day have the same equal rights.
You can choose to wear whatever you feel comfortable in - you don't have to go all out, just because others are doing it. The classic Pride look is made of colorful clothing, loads of glitter, and a lot of LGBTQIA+ symbols. We recommend you wear whatever feels most appropriate to you, as long as you don't forget the suncream and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun!
Pride started as a response to the 1969 Stonewall Riots. Now, the LGBTQIA+ community comes together to celebrate their lives, to protest for equal rights, and to stand in solidarity with those living in less accepting families or areas. Every year, people fight for equality in and outside the community, and we can all help by listening to and accepting ourselves and those around us.
